Back On The Market

I just found out that our old home is back on the market.
Aaron and I bought this home 9 years ago.
We lived in it for a year,
and sold it when Aaron decided to go to chiropractic school.
It was such a fun home.
(Awe ... Memories).

GOOOOO Andrew!

Andrew had another basketball game yesterday.

My little dude scored 10 points and got a ton of rebounds.

He's such a good player.

I'm so proud of him!

Loving This Weather...

I've really enjoyed the weather the last few days.
It's been warm enough to go for walks...
One of my absolute favorite things.

PTC With Mrs. B

I went to PTC last night.
Andrew's teacher (Mrs. B) had only good things to say.
She said she's seen a lot of improvement in reading, spelling, and math.
I'm proud of my little guy!
Thank you for all that you do Andrew.
I love you!

In Need Of A Little Sunshine

I could really use a little bit of sunshine.
Have you ever had one of those days,
where you just wanted it to be over or at least start it over fresh?
I got in an accident this morning on my way home from work.
I slid on the snow going west on Pioneer Crossing,
and hit into another truck.
No one was hurt thankfully,
but I did some damage to my father-in-law's truck
and to the other truck I hit.
Both trucks were drivable.
I just wish it wouldn't have happend.
I hate worrying about money.
...Not just that.
I have a few sick kids at home.
I hate it when my babies don't feel well.
There, I'm done complaining for the day.

Andrew's Busy Life

Andrew has quite the busy life...
This morning was his 2nd pinewood derby.

Andrew wanted his car half BYU and half Utah Jazz

Don't you love the silver dollars glued to the top of his car?
(A quick attempt by Aaron to help it weigh the 5 oz it needed to be)

Andrew competed in 4 races.

He took 4th, 3rd, 3rd, and 2nd.
I guess if you want to get technical...his average was 3rd.
Andrew got an award for the most unique!

Bree and Abby came for support.

It was a fun morning.
Later in the afternoon,
Andrew had basketball pictures, a practice and a game.

S. Jordan Aquatic Center

Yesterday I went on a field trip with my son to the S. Jordan Aquatic Center.
I had such a great time.
The pool is amazing.
They have a waterslide, a lazy river, lap lanes, etc.
All of the kids were adorable.
It sure doesn't take a lot to make children happy.
It was great meeting some of Brody's classmates as well as their parents.
I hope they go back.

I decided to take Brody home after we were done swimming.
I let him pick out a treat.
...Oh my goodness.
I sure love this boy.

Thanks Dad for watching my girls.

Pilots

Brody is learning about community helpers in school.
He was given an assignment on Pilots.
We did this poster together today after school.
I think we did a good job.

Meet Breelyn Ballerina Girl

Friday night Breelyn came into our bedroom all dressed up and ready to perform.
Aaron asked her "Who are you?"
Her answer was "I'm Breelyn Ballerina Girl."
Aaron and I both looked at each other and laughed.
Isn't she adorable?

Crazy Saturdays...

Yesterday was kind of crazy...
Work in the morning.
Then rush home to clean the house.
We had 2 groups of people walk through our house yesterday.
I didn't want to be there when they came,
So my parents suggested maybe going to a movie.
They took us to see Yogi Bear at the Water Gardens Theatre.
My kids did amazingly well.
We all had a great time.
Aaron had a booth at the Health Fair at Lehi Legacy Center yesterday.
He was there from 9-1:30.
A lot of people came.
You can see him and Brittany in the lower left hand corner.

SS Fire Department & Police Station

I went on a field trip with my girls this morning.
We went to the Saratoga Springs Fire Dept. and Police Station.
At the fire dept., we watched a video with Timon and Pumba from Lion King
about how to be safe.
After the video, we got a little tour.

First we saw where they do their training.
Then we saw their living quarters.
Firefighters work for 2 days straight!
(I didn't realize they worked that long.)
We saw their kitchen and weight room.

Then we got to see their garage with their fire truck, ambulance, boat, jet skis, etc.

We saw their locker area where they grab their equipment.

The clothes firemen wear weigh over 50 lbs!

Mrs. Alisha showed us all how they put on their equipment.

She even had a cool mask like Darth Vader.

At the end of the tour,
all of the kids got Fire Chief hats and stickers.

Even little Alyssa!

The police station tour was short and sweet.
We saw a safe where they keep all of their guns, pictures of police officers, and best of all
...A view into one of the patrol cars!

Everyone got suckers...

stickers and pencils.
What a fun field trip.
Thanks Mrs. Alisha!

A Bunch Of Sleddin Fools

We went sledding at my Grandma Argyle's house today.

The hill in her back yard is awesome.
It's perfect for sledding in the winter time
and perfect for sliding with a tarp and a hose in the summer.
I have so many wonderful childhood memories there. :)

Abby's cousin Jessie came along with us.

We had a wonderful time.
Thanks Grandma for letting us play.

P.S. Thank you also for the graham crackers and milk!
