Like mother like daughter

Baseball Season Has Started Again...

My oldest son Andrew just started another season of baseball. This year, he's playing with the "Raptors." His first game was last Saturday. Here are some pics from his game. Andrew is the first in line up to bat. He's super tall for his age. He always gets mistaken for a 10-12 year old. :)

10 Seconds Of Fame!

As I was driving to work Wednesday am, they announced over the radio that they were going to give a prize away to the 14th caller. I grabbed my phone and attempted to call KSOP's number. Wouldn't you know it, it was busy. So ...I tried again. Still busy. The 3rd time I called I got through. And guess what? -I was the 14th caller. Yay! I was so excited. I won a t-shirt, Rascall Flatts new CD, and my name was put into a drawing for a trip for two to see Rascall Flatts in Atlanta Georgia. They'll announce the winner Friday April 24th. Wish me luck!

Easter Weekend

This past weekend was so much fun. After Andrew's baptism Saturday, we had a little party and an Easter egg hunt. Then Saturday night, Andrew and Abby colored some eggs. On Sunday, we had dinner and a Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Baby Update!

I met with my perinatologist today. An ultrasound was done, and our little girl looks great! I've been having the IVIG treatments for about a month, and it looks like they're helping with the NAIT. My doctor said he couldn't see any bleeds. He said she's growing just like she should be. Right now, she weighs approx. 2.5 lbs. In the picture above, there is an arrow pointing to her mouth. You can see her nose and eyes. Her left arm is covering part of her face. She kept "Yawning" while the ultrasound was being performed. -It was so cute.

Brody Did It!

Aaron, I and Brody's teachers have been working like crazy for the past couple of weeks to help Brody get potty trained. I was very frustrated and began to think that he may never be potty trained ...until today!
This afternoon when Brody got off the bus, Aaron and I noticed that he still had his same clothes on that we'd put on him this am (The first good sign). We gave him a drink and then I took him the bathroom. Brody did number 1 all by himself! I couldn't believe it. He was so cute and proud of himself. I"ll be sure to let all of you know when number 2 occurs. :)

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Today was Andrew's 8th birthday! (Sheesh, I can't believe we have a son that old).
We had a fun little birthday party for him after school. We took Andrew and four of his friends to Lehi Legacy Center. The boys swam for about an hour and a half, then they came back to our house for pizza, cake, and ice cream. Andrew got a lot of great gifts. I think that everyone had a good time. Aaron and Bree winding down after all of the excitement.

My Little April Fooler!

Yesterday, Andrew thought he was pretty sly.
He poured the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal into a plastic container and filled up the empty box with Apple Jacks.
When Andrew came home from school, I told him that I went to pour myself a bowl of cereal and the wrong kind came out!
He laughed and laughed and laughed.
Happy April Fools Mom!
